The Salt Monitor feature reminds you when you need to add salt to your brine tank. The salt water solution helps to keep your system operating effectively. As you can see, the salt monitor uses metal probes which generates short bursts of electricity. These small bursts measure the conductivity electric current from one probe to another. Since pure water can’t conduct electricity on its own, it is a reliable method for measuring the dissolved salts in the water.
If low levels are measured, the system will trigger a “Low Salt” alarm on your mobile device as a sweet little reminder that you need to add salt.
